More disappointment for Chelsea as top player will walk out this summer

Chelsea Football Club is poised for another summer of transformation, with a seasoned player looking to move on.

Mauricio Pochettino remains in charge for the upcoming season hinges on Todd Boehly’s assessment of the team’s progress under him. Currently, there are both advantages and disadvantages to Pochettino’s tenure, as the team’s inconsistency persists despite significant spending in the previous summer transfer window, with many new signings either sidelined due to injury or failing to meet expectations.

However, it’s believed that the manager enjoys good rapport with his players, and Boehly’s ‘hire and fire’ approach wouldn’t be beneficial for anyone in the short or long run.

With expected transfers during the window, losing Thiago Silva, especially considering the team’s relative lack of experience, is unlikely to sit well with Chelsea supporters.

Thiago Silva to leave Chelsea

Despite his age, Thiago Silva consistently delivers strong performances. Even if he’s not slated to be a regular starter next season, his wealth of experience would be indispensable as the team aims to climb back up the Premier League standings.

Since Boehly assumed control, Chelsea has been in a state of transition, and now it’s crucial for the club to stabilize in order to progress in various aspects.

According to CaughtOffside columnist Fabrizio Romano, Thiago Silva has numerous options to explore this summer.

Despite being available on a free transfer, the decision seems to have been made but not yet formally announced.
