Mo Salah breaks his social media silence after touchline row with Jurgen Klopp
Mohamed Salah ended his social media hiatus after his intense altercation with Jurgen Klopp.
The clash between Salah and Klopp occurred during Liverpool’s 2-2 draw against West Ham United last Saturday.
In the post-match mixed zone, Salah delivered a harsh response when questioned about his disagreement with the German manager.
The 31-year-old is aiming to reclaim his spot in the starting lineup as his team prepares to resume their Premier League campaign against Tottenham on Sunday.
With the possibility of featuring in the lineup at Anfield looming, Salah took to his Instagram account to share a story, marking his first post on social media since the disagreement with Klopp.
Salah posted a gym selfie without any captions, seemingly indicating his focused mindset for the remainder of the season.
After the heated exchange between Salah and Klopp during the West Ham game, Klopp downplayed the seriousness of the argument, stating, “We spoke already in the dressing room.
For me, that’s done.” When asked if Salah felt the matter was resolved, Klopp indicated, “That’s my impression, yes.”
Despite Salah’s entrance into the match against West Ham failing to spark a victory for Liverpool, he boasts an impressive tally of 24 goals across all competitions this season.
Of these, 17 goals came in the league, although Liverpool’s title aspirations suffered another setback following draws against Everton and West Ham, leaving them trailing league leaders Arsenal by five points.
With three league games remaining this season, Liverpool faces a challenging task to revive their title hopes and secure a strong finish in the Premier League standings.
